Annual Conference - Business Meeting

Dear PRWA System Member,

The PRWA Board Member Nominating Committee is seeking applicants for three (3) positions on the Board of Directors.  These positions will be for a three (3) year term.  The PRWA Bylaws state that one Board Member shall be elected from each district as well as one Member-At-Large.  To be eligible to serve as a board member you must represent a voting member system that serves a population of 15,000 people or less.  This year we are seeking nominations for the District 2 Board Member (A system member from Carbon, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Northampton, Pike, Schuylkill, Susquehanna, Wayne, or Wyoming county), the District 3 Board Member (A system member from Adams, Bedford, Berks, Blair, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Mifflin, Perry, or York county), and the District 5 Board Member (A system member from Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Cambria, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Somerset, Washington, or Westmoreland county).

Elections will be held during the Annual Business Meeting, Thursday, March 29, 2012 7:30-8:30 am, at the PRWA Annual Conference in State College, PA.  Registered delegates from eligible member systems will cast votes for the board positions.  Applications and all related forms should be mailed to the attention of Nominating Committee, PRWA, 138 West Bishop Street, Bellefonte, PA 16823.  All nomination applications must be received by the end of the business day, Monday, February 27, 2011.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Joe or Penny at 814-353-9302 or any PRWA Board Member directly.
